3/18, 6am-9am - Cameras, Cars, and Conversation Event at Katie's Coffee

Join the Leica Store DC at Katie's Coffee House, located at 760 Walker Rd. in Great Falls, VA on Saturday, March 18th for a Cameras, cars, and coffee meetup from 6am to 9am.  Show up early and watch the cars roll in!

We will have a limited number of Leica S and SL cameras available for you to try if you'd like.  Please remember to bring your own SD memory card.  We will then meet back at the Leica Store DC from 12pm - 2pm to review your images.

3/31 - 4/2 - Street Photography Weekend with Aaron Berger

Join the Leica Akademie in Washington, DC for a street photography workshop with guest photographer, Aaron Berger.  This 3-day course will offer the hands on experience of shooting all day in the streets; as well as the analysis, discussion and constructive critique of photographs as a means of expression. The course starts on Friday night with an introduction and portfolio review. Saturday will be spent shooting in the morning and afternoon, with an evening critique session back at the Leica Store DC. Sunday resumes with more shooting in the morning, and a final afternoon session of editing, review and feedback at the Leica Store DC.

4/23, 12pm-2pm - East of the Mississippi: Nineteenth-Century American Landscape Photography Field Trip

Join us on Sunday, April 23rd for our next photography field trip to the National Gallery of Art's "East of the Mississippi: Nineteenth-Century American Landscape Photography." exhibition.  Participants will meet at the Leica Store DC at 12pm, where we will walk from our location down to the West Wing of the National Gallery of Art.
Please bring your own camera to use for this event.

4/30, 10am-4:30pm - Food Photography Workshop with Leica

Join celebrated DC-based food photographer, Scott Suchman for this full day Food Photography workshop using a variety of Leica cameras.
Participants will learn how to properly work with Leica close up gear, adapters, and the full range of lenses- wide angle to telephoto. You will discover techniques using natural light and styling tricks to create mouth-watering still life images of raw and prepared food.
This workshop is open to photographers of all skill sets.  Loaner cameras will be available.
